So I read his later stuff with a bit of reservation, because I often think he's just trying to justify his mormonized aggresive militarism. I think it was either the second or third book in the series, were he's basically trying to create a fantasy where his political beliefs are proven to be the most correct. And it's hard to not get the feeling that he's self-rightously preaching at his political opposites. |
