As far as the directing goes, I favor Episode V. Actually I favor that one all the way around. Episode IV was good direction wise, but you have to remember that no one had any clue that it would explode like it did. I remember an interview with Harrison Ford and he was relating that during the last scene where they are getting their medals and accolades, the extras were laughing and mocking them as they walked down the aisle. Look at where sci fi was during that era - Logan's Run was released just prior to that and is soooo cheesy by comparison. Don't get me wrong, I like Logan's, but c'mon. I agree with the post that stated that Lucas should've left the directors chair after putting out Episode I. It is my least favorite and a new cutting edge director could've really added a new perspective.

Everyone knows that Star Wars directed by Lucas will always be better! I liked IV better than VI, VI better than V, and III better than all of them!
