I actually liked Attack of the Clones, but it had that horrendous set of romance scenes, and it was relatively mediocre when compared with the rest of the film. |

|  | 501303 | Nov 4, 2006 1:41pm | Ep I was an unmitigated disaster. Ep II was not that great, but at least had a plot and moved the story forward. Ep III was very very good. Maybe Lucas learned from his mistakes, and the actors also grew into their roles. My personal favourite is sill Ep V, not directed by Lucas.
I think Lucas should have shared screen-writing and story development with collaborators. Doing everything on his own for Ep I and II was clearly not a good idea, even if he wanted to direct them. |

| vfrederic | Mar 4, 2007 2:43pm | | Lucas directed EP1 after 22years of being away from the Director's Chair! He was definitely out of touch. After his failure at EP1, he should've come down to reality and let some really talented (current) Directors helm the last 2 prequels. Imagine how better EP2 or 3 would have been if directed by the likes of Speilberg, Jackson, or Raimi. Hopefully the TV show will be as good as BSG. |
